My mom had heard so much about this magical place through their social media pages that we couldn’t wait to pay this place a visit. The unique thing about Bark Bar is it’s equally fun for you as it is for your hoomans. For the doggos, there is an inside/outdoor play area and some special doggie treats for purchase. It was truly one of my favorite trips. Check out all the fun we had below! If you want to explore all that this island has to offer, you have to travel by ferry. The unique thing about Mackinac Island is that no motor vehicles are allowed on the island at any time. Horse carriages, bicycles, and your feet are the only modes of transportation used. However, if you aren’t a huge fan of ferry rides, don't worry as the ride is only 20 minutes long and it’s a very scenic ride! Bonus: Dog’s ride for free! This place is known for its multicolored cliffs. However, there are quite a few breathtaking views all around this lakeshore. It is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Unfortunately, when we were there, it was a bit gloomy and rainy. But we still made the best of it! PRO TIP: Always pack a rain jacket if you are planning to camp and hike for a few days. The first little hike was right next to the campground so we took full advantage of that. The Scioto Trail stretches along the Scioto River and through Downtown Columbus. Whether you want to walk, run, bike, scooter, this is the perfect trail for it all. The total trail makes up 12.2 miles.
